Half Moon Bay, CA - After 32 years of providing the beautiful Coastside community with the best selection of new books and greeting cards, Coastside Books’ owners are selling the store to pursue a new field: retirement.
They are looking for caring individuals who have a deep love of books to continue this wonderful business. If you know of anyone who might have the time and desire to own and operate their own independent bookstore, please refer them to this website and check out the Photos.
This is a independent general bookstore. It was established in 1974 and the present owners have had it since 1977. It has always been located on Main Street, in downtown Half Moon Bay. In addition to the regular 2-hour parking along Main Street, Coastside Books has plenty of off-street parking in a lot behind the store.
The store is approximately 2,022 sq. ft. and includes a back office and restrooms.
Coastside Books currently employs one full-time employee and one part-time employee. Support and/or training is negotiable. The lease can be tailored to suit your needs.
